Communications Committee

The Communications Committee informs members of Village activities and issues, promotes the Village within the Mount Pleasant neighborhood and the larger D.C. community, and communicates with Village partners and outside organizations through these activities:

• Creating and distributing a monthly newsletter to Village members discussing people, activities, issues, and services related to the Village and neighborhood

• Exploring and implementing safe and useful interactive communication opportunities for members, such as the Groups.IO listserv

• Working with other committees and board members to ensure that public-facing materials represent the stated mission and vision of the Village and express our brand appropriately

• Developing, promoting, and maintaining the Village brand (logo, colors, etc. ) and guiding its use in all communications
