Organizations Providing Assistance to Ukraine

UN High Commission for Refugees  https://www.unrefugees.org

International Rescue Committee https://www.rescue.org

From Ukranian American NHN volunteer Alexa Fedynsky:

“Thank you thank you for helping to organize this fundraising drive--I think it's a great idea to share with clusters and within the newsletter! I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate it. As for donations, I recommend these two organizations most highly. The first is Come Back Alive (https://www.comebackalive.in.ua/) which supports the armed forces through defense initiatives, so things like body armor, technology, trainings. Then there is Razom for Ukraine (https://razomforukraine.org/), a 501(c)(3) organization which supports Ukraine in bringing people together, advocacy campaigns, etc. I have quite a few friends who work/volunteer for them. I also recommend following the Kyiv Independent for news (https://kyivindependent.com/) -- English-language, all around the country, and very timely. They also have a donation page – they’ve been inundated recently so have been sharing their donations with other independent news sources around the country.”

From MoveOn.org via Jodi Crandall:

MoveOn is partnering with United Help Ukraine, an organization that distributes donations, food, and medical supplies to those injured in the war, their families, and those in need of temporary aid as they flee for safety. https://unitedhelpukraine.org

From Bill Emmet:

My daughter’s sister-in-law is Ukrainian, with many friends and family directly affected by the war and dislocation.  In addition to Razom for Ukraine, mentioned in Alexa’s email, she suggests donating to Nova Ukraine www.give.novaukraine.org.

From David Arnold:

In addition to listing Razom for Ukraine, Nova Ukraine, and World Central Kitchen, the interesting Come Back Alive (https://www.comebackalive.in.ua) which offers funds to Ukrainian defense forces, also highlighted by Alexa.

World Central Kitchen:. Jose Andres' organization is providing meals to the Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Ukraine.  You can get information at:  https://donate.wck.org/give/393234#!/donation/checkout
