Join us on to discover how native plants—those uniquely adapted to our region’s soils and conditions—can bring beauty, biodiversity, and resilience to your garden. Our own neighborhood experts—Chris Schwartz and Karin French—will explain why native plants are worth planting, how to design and care for a native garden, and which easy-to-find species are great for getting started. New and experienced gardeners will leave inspired and equipped to create a space that’s both beautiful and beneficial to our local ecosystem. The event will begin with an indoor workshop at the library, followed by a look at one or two properties where Chris and Karin can give feedback and ideas on how to create vibrant gardens on those properties with various native plantings. We hope to see you there!
