Learn how to be an Ally, Witness and Good Neighbor in the evolving environment of DC

Hosted by the Diversity Committee of Mount Pleasant Village as part of its ongoing Lunch, Learn & Act events in solidarity with our wider community as we face unprecedented challenges

Participants will be introduced to information and skills to support neighbors and residents who face threats from ICE and other authorities.Trainers from Many Languages One Voice (MLOV) will offer ally training on how bystanders can bear witness, help de-escalate and diffuse harmful situations, and promote nonviolent approaches to bystander intervention.Free DC has been invited to provide their insights into the current situation in the District.
