Members of the Village and other neighbors concerned about addressing the climate crisis at the grassroots level are coming together for the third in-person meeting at the Mt. Pleasant Library. All are invited to a solar energy forum sponsored by the Village Climate Crisis interest group at the Library on Thursday, June 20 at 6:00-7:30 pm. Two speakers will address what you need to know to “go solar.” They are Thomas Bartholomew of the DC Department of Energy and Environment and Anya Schoolman, a neighbor and founder of United Solar Neighbors. We also will hear from neighbors who have recently acquired solar panels about their experience. Participating by Zoom will also be an option (Click here).
